Southern Toads Sing

Lightning Flares up in the South. Crickets slide Their Legs on Cellos and Violins. Peepers, Grass Frogs and Fowler's Toads Sing Joyfully to the MAKER of the Rain. Soaked Grass sloshes over my feet. As dark Clouds shift over head a Glowy dim Moon Shines through wearing a Pretty Pale Rainbow. A Great Horn Owl Whoots out near Joey's. A Cool Breeze wraps 'round my shoulders & shares a STRONG Musky Stench with my nose. A Large Dripping Wet Skunk wanders past the porch across the front patch of Grass and over the walk way towards the Grape Arbor. Tears trickle down my cheeks. Her Fume CLEARS Her path. Over by the Family Grave Yard another Great Horned Owl answers. Streaks flash. Gentle Drops Kiss. Oak Toads & Southern Toads sing of Love. Low Muffled Thunder Echoes. Poor-Wills Pray.
